Editing Services
We offer comprehensive editing and proofreading services to help you improve the quality and accuracy of your writing. Our experienced editors can help you refine your writing and ensure that your content is error-free and polished.
Developmental Editing $.03/word $30.00/1000 words

NOTE: Above prices apply only if manuscript has received a basic grammar and spell-check prior to sending AND if author understands use of MS Word Track Changes.
If author is not familiar with editing services or has never worked with an editor, additional charges may apply at editorial staff discretion.
Editing services will be performed on editable digital manuscripts only.
Line Edit/Proofreading $.02/word $20.00/1000 words

NOTE: This service is only offered to authors who have previously used our editorial services, or on manuscripts approved for this service by staff. This service is not available to new clients.
Manuscript Evaluation $10.00/page
Manuscript will be reviewed for story structure, characterization and development, pacing, point of view by scene, info dumps, and any other obvious inconsistencies. Staff will insert comments and provide detailed suggestions concerning possible improvements and potential corrections.
Turnaround time of evaluation depends on length of manuscript and staff's schedule at the time of booking.
If author decides to proceed with full developmental edit upon conclusion of evaluation, full evaluation price will be credited toward cost of developmental edit.
NOTE: Manuscript pages are assumed to be industry standard of Times New Roman/12 pt. font, double-spaced, 1" margins, 8.5 x 11 paper (approx. 250-300 words per page). If manuscript is received in any form other than this for review, it will be reformatted to above standards and price will be adjusted accordingly.
Payment
Payment terms: 50% deposit with signed contract at beginning of project; remainder to be paid in full upon project completion.
We accept PayPal, credit cards, certified checks, and money orders as forms of payment.
If author prefers to pay via personal check, be aware editing will not begin until deposit check has cleared.
